The Union of Black Episcopalians meets in Los Angeles and celebrates diaspora, The 51st annual business meeting of the Union of Black Episcopalians opened July 22nd in Los Angeles with spirited worship celebrating the African diaspora’s rich musical and cultural heritage, and with standing ovations and sustained applause for three African American women recently elected diocesan bishops.
